With many of our clients requesting animal-free menu options we thought we'd highlight some of our traders who are championing innovative vegan cuisine. Whether your full-time Vegan or just giving it a go, here are some of our hot-picks!
Faceplant Food
This fabulous duo came on the scene in 2017 and have since then become a household name for delicious Vegan dishes and products that will make anyone's mouth water!
Not only have they been successful in a catering capacity, they also recently launched their own range of chilled vegan foods which are being snapped up like hot-cakes!
These include FacePlant Smoked Maple Bacon, Vegan Cheeze and their infamous Vegan Square-Go Sausage.
We love their bold vegan renditions of comfort food faves, the Chilli Cheeze Nachos & amazing Mac & Cheeze sprinkled with Fake-on Bits are up there on our best strEAT eats!
Freddy & Hicks
Another one to watch! Freddy & Hicks boost some amazing Vegan dishes and have the expertise to create bespoke Vegan menus for private events.
They have been on the scene for a while, previously trading in London, so have it down to a ‘t’! Using the freshest of ingredients their dishes are full of colour, flavour and beautifully presented.
First dibs on the Sweet Potato Fries with Smoky Chilli Beans!! (and if you not ready to go all in, they also have a great Veggie menu)
Rawnchy
Over to the sweet-side we have Rawnchy! If you haven’t heard of this gem, get out from under your rock :-P
A firm favourite in Glasgow for plant-based cakes & treats and why wouldn't they be with showstoppers like this! Coconut Cashew Frosting, Pistachio Sprinkles and colours more vibrant than a rainbow!
With their recently opened café in St George's Cross in Glasgow, you can now enjoy your colour-pop treat with a creamy Oat Milk Latte on the side (things of dreams, we tell ya!!)
